Please note: The hearing has been rescheduled to October 11, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

This website is to provide Settlement Class Members with information about a proposed settlement referred to as Wilson v. AAA South Jersey, Inc., CAM-L-004502-17 and is pending in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Camden County Law Division.

If you were a member of AAA South Jersey, Inc. since January 31, 2015 and renewed your membership at some point during the ninety (90) days following the stated expiration of your annual membership, you could get benefits from a class action settlement.

The plaintiff in the class action lawsuit alleges that AAA did not disclose its practice of backdating its annual membership period to the date a member’s previous term period expires, rather than the date the member renews his or her membership. AAA denies any wrongdoing or liability and denies the allegations. A settlement of the class action has been reached. Under the proposed settlement, you may be entitled to a payment and other benefits.

The Fairness Hearing is currently scheduled for September 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Please check back here for any updates to this or other dates. You do not have to come to the hearing. (See Question 19 in the Long Form Notice).
